The Roots Radics have played on more than a thousand Jamaican reggae albums and have contributed to countless of big hits for various artists such as Gregory Isaacs, Eek-A-Mouse, John Holt, Barrington Levy, Yellowman, Bunny Wailer, and many others.

 As a combined force the Roots Radics became a well-respected studio and stage band, which dominated the sound in the first half of the 1980s.
